Billboard Music Charts Mobile Ringtone on Your iPhone
There is a new iPhone app from Billboard that lets you view up to 60 years worth of Billboard music charts on your phone. With the iPhone now available through Verizon for the first time, apps like these should continue to increase in popularity as more peoplethen ever have access to Apple devices. The Billboard Chart App features the company's 15 infulential music sales charts, genre rankings and ringtones.
The app updates each chart on a weekly basis so users can track their favorite album's sales over time. The album chart history going bac k up to 60 years will be accompanied by 30 second music snippets that can be searched by artist, album, or song. The charts are already very popular on the company's website, so the app seemed like a no-brainer for Billboard executives.
